Judith Garner

Judith “Judy” Garner born July 23, 1940, to Chuck and Ann Parks, passed away March 12, 2025. She married the love of her life, Tom Garner, Jr. on June 3, 1958. Judy was involved in several local clubs, Red Hat Society, Quilt Guild, Quilt Angels. She served on the board at Hatchbend Country Club and Calhoun County’s Senior Citizens. She was actively involved in the Calhoun County Democrat Club. She played in several different card groups in the community. She also enjoyed needlepoint, ceramics and her poodle Sabrinia. She loved entertaining people every chance she could. Her life was well lived, she said.
She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Eyster and (Greg), Tammy Hardt and (Kenneth), Her brother Bill Parks and (Sharon).
Four granddaughters, Britanny Valencia Monreal and (Abel), Avery Eyster, Erica Anderson and (Eric) and Taylor Salinas. Three great grandsons, Daniel, Bryce, Brayden and soon to be her fourth great grand baby, Anderson on the way. As well as her nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Judy’s smile could light up a room and her laugh could be heard from a far. She learned to play golf so she could join her husband on the greens but soon found that taking pictures was more enjoyable for her. Her biggest joys in life were her husband and her grandchildren and her great grandsons.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Tom, and her sister Cathy Schutt.
A private service will be held for the family. Thank you to everyone for being a part of our mothers’ life.
