Successful crab trap removal improves health of bays

CONTRIBUTED PHOTO An abandoned crab trap can be seen along the shoreline during the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department’s Texas Abandoned Crab Trap Removal event. The cleanup effort spanned 10-day with 58 boats and 180 volunteers combing the local bays.
