David Salles

David Salles, 58, of Port Lavaca passed away February 1, 2025.  He was born January 14, 1967 in Victoria to Gabriel and Clara Schley Salles.  David worked as a mechanic for Momentum Rental Service. He enjoyed spending time with the love of his life Donna.  He enjoyed the beach life.  Most called him “Dave The Mayor of Powderhorn”.  If you ever needed help he was there.  BBQ was always on and a cold one was always offered.

He is survived by his daughter, Brandy Ureste (Josh); sisters, Brenda Cooper, Lucy Salles; brothers, John Salles, Larry Salles, Harold Schley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna J. Salles; parents; sister, Jeanne Gandy; and brother, Sam Salles.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 9, 2025 from 11a.m.-1p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Monday, February 10, 2025 at 10 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow at Wood Hi Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kody Salles, Daniel Harvell, Wyatt Cooper, Jason Gandy, and Jose Padron.
