Shields Anthony ‘Tony’ Holladay

Shields Anthony “Tony” Holladay unexpectedly left us on Friday, December 13, 2024 at home in Port Lavaca, TX at the young age of 80. Tony was born in Sumter, SC on June 1, 1944 to the late Marie Rogers Holladay and Shields P Holladay.

Tony is survived by his wife of 33 years, Janice Matson Holladay; sons: Tony Jr. (Ashlie), Bill (Racquel), Mike (Joy), Connor (Maddie) Holladay and daughter, Lisa Holladay. Also brother, Frank (Sharon) Holladay and sister, Cindy (Mike) Bordwine; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  

Preceded in death by son, Riley Holladay; sisters: Jho Ann Goodman (Reggie), Nancy Wisman and brother Bobby Holladay.

Join us on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Our Lady of Gulf Catholic Church in Port Lavaca to commemorate his remarkable life with Visitation at 1:30pm, Rosary at 2 p.m. pm and Mass at 2:30 p.m.
