Timmy Pompa, 62, of Port Lavaca, Texas passed away in Houston, Texas on Tuesday, November 26, 2024.  He was born on September 28, 1962, in Port Lavaca, Texas to the late Endalesio Pompa, Sr. and Lupita Resendez. He was catholic.
Timmy was a hardworking man, who would never stop. He was an ironworker for many years, loved doing carpentry work, and was always ready and willing to help those in need. He had friends far and near, most likely in all 50 states, while chasing turnarounds and meeting good people along the way. He loved to fish in his spare time. His favorite things to do were traveling to visit his children, being around his family, barbecuing, dancing, drinking and enjoy life.  
He is survived by his daughters, Teresa Ann Whalen (Mitchell) of Missouri, Cindy Avary (James) of Indiana, Angelita Hernandez (Pablo) of Florida; son, Timoteo “Timo” Pompa Jr. of Florida; sisters, Angelita Lopez (Savino), Linda Medina, and Maclovia Morales (Felix) of Port Lavaca, and Mary Helen Pompa Morales (Alex) of West Columbia; brothers, Tony Pompa (Laura) and Adam Castaneda (Michelle) of Victoria; Patsy Resendez (Justin) of Inez and 7 grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, Endalesio Pompa, Sr. and Lupita Resendez; brothers, Juan Israel Medina and Endalesio Pompa, Jr.; sister, Maria Maya; grandson, Holden Avary.
Visitation will begin, Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 5:00PM - 7:00PM with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00PM at Grace Funeral Chapel, 1604 W. Austin St., Port Lavaca.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, December 6, 2024, at 2:00PM at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church, 415 W. Austin St., Port Lavaca with Father Tommy Chen to officiate.  Interment to follow at Port Lavaca Cemetery, 500 Martin Luther King Dr., Port Lavaca.  
Honoring Timmy as pallbearers will be Adyn Garza, Kolton Brothers, Israel Rodriguez, Justin Kinnison, Elijah Pompa, and Joshua Resendez.  Honorary pallbearers are Rudy Rivera and Xavier Rivera.
