Andrew Ureste Jr

Andrew O. Ureste Jr., age 80, of Ingleside, TX passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. Born on September 2, 1943 in Port Lavaca, TX, to Andrew and Dolores Ureste, he is survived by his wife of 58 years, Rebecca Marroquin Ureste, their two children, Mark (Holly) Ureste and Vanessa (Corey) Lossing, his seven grandchildren and one great-grandson. He is also survived by his brother Jose Ureste, and sisters, Guadalupe Wilkinson, Millie Vela, and Angelita Davila. He was proceded in death by his brother, Augustine Ureste and his parents Dolores Ochoa Ureste and Andrew Ureste Sr.

In 1966, he married his wife, Rebecca, and together they started a family and devoted themselves to serving Jehovah. Andrew cherished time with family, especially his children and great grandchildren. In 1968, he began working for Union Carbide, where he remained for over 30 years until his retirement. During his retirement, he enjoyed working in his yard, traveling, fishing and dedicating more time to his ministry, helping others learn about Jehovah and the wonderful promises of the future. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 2 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1649 W. DeBerry Ave, Aransas Pass, TX 78336.
