Ethel Mae Langston Smith

Ethel Mae Langston Smith, 83, of Port Lavaca, Tx. passed away on July 11, 2024. She was born on October 15, 1940 to the late Red and Mae Langston.

She retired from GTE in 1992 where she worked as a central office wiring technician. She had a love of art. And put her artistry to work making beautiful jewelry and operating gift shops.

She goes to join her husband Robert R. Smith who died in 2003.

She is survived by a son Jerry Brown of Port Lavaca, a daughter and son in law Cindy and Jim Richter also of Port Lavaca, Tx. She was very proud of her 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 27th at 10AM at the Richardson-Colonial funeral home in Port Lavaca, Tx 361-552-9766
