Local law enforcement makes 47 arrests over two weeks

The arrest records made available through The Port Lavaca Wave newspaper are public information. Any indication of an arrest does not mean the individual identified has been convicted of a crime. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Local law enforcement made 47 arrests between Monday, Aug. 31 and Sunday, Sept. 13. They are as follows:

Gerald Leonard Franek, 48, Port Lavaca, arrested by Calhoun County Sheriff's Office on a warrant for violation of probation- possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1/1-B greater than or equal to one gram but less than four grams. 

Crystal Nichole Luker, 35, Port Lavaca, arrested by Port Lavaca Police Department on warrants for possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear. 

Jose D. Olvera, 38, Port Lavaca, arrested by PLPD for assault causing bodily injury to family member. 

Erick Perez, 22, Port Lavaca, arrested by CCSO on warrants for violation of probation-driving while intoxicated and failure to control speed. 

Hilary Nicole Baladez, 34, Bloomington, arrested by CCSO on warrants for four counts of failure to appear, no liability insurance, expired license plate, expired registration, and drivers license. 

Angela Elizabeth Contreras, 31, Port Lavaca, arrested by CCSO for evading arrest/detention with vehicle, driving while intoxicated, and collision involving damage to vehicle greater than or equal to $200. 

Anthony Dewayne Times Sr., 55, Port Lavaca, arrested by PLPD on warrants for failure to appear and failure to maintain financial responsibility. 

Damion Ray Valadez, 32, Port Lavaca, arrested by CCSO for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams and on a warrant for theft of property greater than or equal to $100 but less than $750. 

Gregory Lee Drinkard Sr., 43, Mathis, arrested by PLPD for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. 

David Esquivel Jr., 29, Port Lavaca, arrested by CCSO on warrants for fishing without valid license or refuse to show license and failure to appear. 

Raul Resio Jr., 53, Schertz, arrested by Point Comfort Police Department for violation of bond/protective order. 

Anthony Rafael Vasquez Sr., 44, Port Lavaca, arrested by CCSO for violation of probation-assault family/household member. 

Charles Wade Brown, 43, Seadrift, arrested by CCSO for public intoxication with three prior convictions. 

Andy Ray Castro, 34, Palmer, arrested by CCSO on warrants for assault of a pregnant person and parole violation. 

Jaime Espindola Jr., 25, Bloomington, arrested by CCSO on warrants for no drivers license, fail to yield at a stop intersection, and violate promise to appear. 

Jeremy Dale Schneider, 41, Cedar Park, arrested by CCSO on a warrant for harassment. 

Kolton Junior Cole, 22, Troy, arrested by CCSO for public intoxication. 

Joe Luis Martinez Jr., 34, Port Lavaca, arrested by PLPD for assault causing bodily injury to family member.

Mercadee Jane Owen, 21, Port Lavaca, arrested by CCSO for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 greater than or equal to one gram but less than four grams.

  

Chance Powell Burkhart, 27, Port Lavaca, arrested by CCSO on warrants for display expired license plate and obtain unauthorized license plate. 

Jorge Ivan Deleon II, 31, Port Lavaca, arrested by PLPD on warrants for unlawful restraint and assault causing bodily injury to family member. 

Gregg Brandon Ozenne, 44, Victoria, arrested by PLPD on warrants for failure to maintain financial responsibility (first offense) and failure to appear. 

Russell Andre Robinson, 48, New Braunfels, arrested by CCSO for driving while intoxicated. 

Brandon Markee Byrd, 44, La Ward, arrested by CCSO for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 less than one gram. 

Magaly Michelle Carbajal, 27, Port Lavaca, arrested by PLPD for driving while intoxicated third or more and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1/1-B less than one gram. 

Clark Randall Coleman, 43, Victoria, arrested by Texas Department of Public Safety for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 greater than or equal to one gram but less than four grams and driving while intoxicated. 

Gia Laurine Torres, 27, Port Lavaca, arrested by PLPD for driving while intoxicated. 

Zachary Niel Tyson, 31, Victoria, arrested by CCSO on a warrant for speeding 104/75. 

Nicholas Charles Alexander, 25, Port Lavaca, arrested by PLPD for burglary of a building. 

Rodolfo Guzman Padron, 46, Port Neches, arrested by CCSO on a warrant for driving while intoxicated third or more. 

Chelsea Rene Montes, 40, Port Lavaca, arrested by CCSO on warrants for speeding and failure to appear. 

Riley Patrick Matula, 26, Hallettsville, arrested by CCSO on a warrant for failure to maintain financial responsibility. 

Eric Morales, 41, Seadrift, arrested by CCSO for expired motor vehicle registration and operate motor vehicle without financial responsibility.

 

Rogelio Hill, 64, Port Lavaca, arrested by PLPD for driving while intoxicated-second and unlawful carrying of a weapon. 

Terry Lee Kirkland, 45, Huffman, arrested by CCSO on a warrant for violation of probation- driving while intoxicated-third or more. 

Tanya Ortega Mason, 46, Victoria, arrested by PLPD on warrants for speeding greater than 10 percent above the posted speed limit 91/70, failure to appear 91/70, and speeding greater than 10 percent above the posted speed limit 89/60. 

Melanie Yamileth Perez, 29, Von Ormy, arrested by CCSO on warrants for failure to appear and driving with license invalid-first offense/DPS denied renewal. 

Dennis Alan Oliphant, 38, Port O’ Connor, arrested by CCSO for criminal trespass. 

 Cassandra Elaine Wood, 57, Port Lavaca, arrested by CCSO on a warrant for bond forfeiture-criminal trespass. 

Kevin Renee Garza, 19, Port Lavaca, arrested by PLPD for possession of controlled substance penalty group 2 less than one gram, driving while intoxicated, and possession of marijuana less than two ounces. 

Guadalupe Gonzales Jr., 53, Bloomington, arrested by CCSO on a warrant for violation of probation-theft matter aluminum/bronze/copper/brass less than $20,000-enhanced if at trial. 

Bobbie Jo Morales, 39, Seadrift, arrested by CCSO on a warrant for violation of probation-possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 greater than or equal to four grams but less than 400 grams. 

Dustin Wayne Green, 35, Port Lavaca, arrested by CCSO for two counts of violate protective order bias/prejudice and two counts of violate bond/protective order. 

Patrick Rene Parker, 28, Port Lavaca, arrested by PLPD for assault on family/house member impeding breath/circulation and resist arrest search or transport. 

Skilyre Sunnylee Keith, 29, Port Lavaca, arrested by CCSO on warrants for two counts of failure to appear, unsafe lane change, and no seatbelt passenger. 

Chelsea Rene Montes, 40, Port Lavaca, arrested by CCSO for criminal trespass. 

Martin Guadalupe Ramirez Jr., 34, Channelview, arrested by PLPD for driving while intoxicated.
