Chelsea Lynn McBride

Chelsea Lynn McBride, Age 36 of Port Lavaca, Texas, suddenly passed away in her sleep on July 4th, 2024 leaving a void that cannot be filled. Chelsea was born on June 24th, 1988 in Port Lavaca, TX to Wendy and the late Roy McBride. She was a bright and joyful child who could light up the room with her unique laugh. She graduated from Calhoun HS in 2006 and was so intelligent, the type of person who took calculus just for fun. Chelsea and her late grandma “Nanny Flo” always had such a special bond. She was the oldest of 4, and a wonderful mother to her daughter, Alexis Rayne Taylor. Alexis was the apple of her eye. Any time you talked to Chelsea, all she talked about is how her daughter is so bright and such an artist. Chelsea was loved and adored by her boyfriend, Zachary Taylor.

Chelsea Lynn McBride is survived by her mom, Wendy Windham McBride, sister, Holly McBride (Bon Gonzales III), brothers, Cory and Colton McBride (Linda Garcia McBride) boyfriend, Zachary Taylor and their daughter Alexis Rayne Taylor. Many nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Preceded in death by her father, Roy McBride, Maternal grandma, Florene Windham (Nanny-Flo) and grandpa Roy Windham. Paternal grandma, Loreen McBride Garrett and grandpa, Raymond McBride, one aunt and many uncles.

Celebration of Life will be held at First Baptist Church, in Port Lavaca, Texas on July 20th, 2024 at 11 AM.
