Jesse Escamia

Jesse Escamia, age 92, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024. He was born on March 24, 1932, to the late Fidencio Escamia and Agapita Banda in Yorktown Texas.

He is survived by his daughter Lisa Escamia from Victoria Tx, his son James Escamia, his wife Lillian Ruth, and his sister Mary Camarillo.

Jesse is also survived by 2 Grandchildren; James Escamia Jr and Tina Maria Ruiz Sorriano (Emilio) and also 2 Great-grandchildren; Sebastian Ruiz Sorriano and Emily Ruiz Sorriano.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Elsie Vargas, his sisters; Irene Deleon “nana”, Lorena Caballeos and Francis Leando, his brothers; Mike Escamia Sr. and Fidencio Escamia Jr.

Visitation began on Wednesday, May 29 at 5:00 PM at Angel Lucy’s Funeral Home of Victoria with a Holy Rosary recited at 6:00 PM. Visitation continued on Thursday, May 30, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Victory Church. Burial concluded at Memory Gardens in Cuero Tx.
