Contributed photo Calhoun High School Class of 2025 invites the community to the remaining runs of the Haunting on Independence Haunted House. Remaining hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 7 to 10 p.m. Thursday. The cost is $10. Proceeds will be used for Project Graduation.

Monster mashing for a mile
Fischer Franck (34) scores leading the Calhoun Sandcrabs to a 66-21 victory over the Floresville Tigers this past Friday. The Sandcrabs are now 3-0 in district and will host the El Campo Ricebirds at home this Friday, which is also senior night.
