William Peter Warzecha

William P. Warzecha, 89, of Point Comfort, passed away April 17, 2025. William was born March 24, 1936 in Cuero, TX to the late Peter and Bernice Zuber Warzecha.
William served his country in the United States Army and was a member of Our Lady of Gulf Catholic Church. He retired from Alcoa as a supervisor after 38 years of service. Throughout his life he enjoyed playing fast pitch softball, hunting, fishing, gardening, camping, and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
William is survived by his children, Christine Kalisek (Ronnie) of Port Lavaca, Douglas Warzecha of Round Rock, Glenn Warzecha (Marcy) of Port Lavaca; sisters, Florence Green (Robert) of San Antonio, JoAnn Griffin of Yorktown; grandchildren, Jill Gibson (Danny) of Port Lavaca, Dennis Kalisek( Casey) of Port Lavaca, Matthew Warzecha of Austin, Patrick Warzecha of Port Lavaca and great-grandchildren, Tori Gibson, Connor Gibson, Maddison Kalisek, Everleigh Kalisek and Vivianne Kalisek.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Peter Warzecha and Bernice Ummelman, stepfatherLeroy Ummelman, wife, Betty Ann Hopmann Warzecha, and brothers, Alfred and Daniel Warzecha.
Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 5-7 PM at Richardson Colonial Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7PM.
A private family mass and burial will be held at a later date.
Pallbearers will beDennis Kalisek, Matthew Warzecha, Danny Gibson, Connor Gibson, Blaine Warzecha, Todd King, and John Fivecoat.
Memorial Donations maybe made in Williams honor to American Cancer Society or American Hear tAssociation.
