CCSO search warrant results in one arrest

Port O' Connor - On Saturday, March 29, Calhoun County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) deputies executed a search warrant in Port O' Connor. According to a statement issued by CCSO, law enforcement officers discovered a substantial number of narcotics during the search, along with rifles and ammunition at the residence.
As a result of the discovery, a suspect was arrested on suspicion of the manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance - penalty group 1. The individual was subsequently transported to the Calhoun County Jail, where they are currently being held. Narcotics seized during the search included approximately 8.3 ounces of suspected methamphetamine, 28.9 ounces of THC gummies and 19.2 ounces of marijuana.
The investigation into the case is ongoing, and CCSO is working diligently to gather additional information, said Sheriff Bobbie Vickery.
“This is part of our ongoing efforts to protect the community,” Vickery said.
"We are committed to ensuring the safety and security of our community by aggressively investigating and addressing illegal narcotic activity. This operation is part of our ongoing efforts to reduce drug-related crime and violence in the area,” a CCSO spokesperson said in a press release.
