Medicine Man Pharmacy opened its Port Lavaca location on Jan. 16. The pharmacy is located at 1202 N. Virginia Street.
As a member of the Good Neighbor Pharmacy network, Medicine Man Pharmacy is independently owned and operated. By aligning with Good Neighbor Pharmacy, Medicine Man Pharmacy will be able to offer the quality products and value pricing of the chain stores, as well as the personalized service that one would expect from an independently-owned and operated drug store.
The staff of the pharmacy will be able to manage a client's overall wellness by reviewing one's medication record, correct dosage and possible side effects or interactions.
"We are excited about joining the Port Lavaca community," said Bruce Rogers, pharmacy owner. "We pledge to deliver a level of service that is above what is currently available here in Port Lavaca."
Medicine Man accepts most major insurance plans.
The pharmacy is open 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
